Cathryne Czubek is a New York based director/producer specializing in documentary and commercial/branded content. SCREW YOU CANCER, her award-winning series for Condé Nast Entertainment, was the first digital series ever to receive a prestigious Television Academy Honor, given to series that use the power of television to bring awareness to important social issues. Her recent commercial/branded work through her boutique production company Salted Media includes producing and directing digital series for flagship brands Vogue, Glamour, Vanity Fair, Verizon, Porsche, Patrón, Revlon and GQ. She is the director of the feature documentary A GIRL AND A GUN (First Run Features/Films Transit International) that premiered at the 2012 DOC NYC film festival before a theatrical run. She has received recognition from the Television Academy, NYSCA, Women Make Movies, NYWIFT, Paley Center for Media, IFP, among others.

Hugo Perez is a filmmaker and writer whose work often focuses on his Cuban heritage. Perez is Producer and Director of the feature documentary NEITHER MEMORY NOR MAGIC narrated by Patricia Clarkson and Viggo Mortensen, as well as SUMMER SUN WINTER MOON that had a national PBS broadcast. Perez recently served as Executive Producer of Rodrigo Reyes feature documentary PURGATORIO that was broadcast on the PBS series America ReFramed, and David Felix Sutcliffe’s documentary ADAMA that aired on PBS World. Perez’ film SEED was part of ITVS/PBS groundbreaking original online science fiction series FutureStates. He is the recipient of the Estela Award for Documentary Filmmaking presented by NALIP as well as the Rockefeller Foundation/Tribeca Film Institute Emerging Artist Fellowship. Perez has studied storytelling with Gabriel Garcia Marquez, collaborated with Pulitzer prize-winning novelist William Kennedy, and served as a guest artist for acclaimed theater director and artist Robert Wilson.
Sarah Dowland graduated in writing and filmmaking from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. She is pursuing her MLB Journalism at Harvard University. Sarah is a veteran of visual effects. She recently completed The Promise which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival 2016. She has produced visual effects for The Matrix Trilogy, The Harry Potter Franchise, V for Vendetta, Salt, The Smurfs Movie and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty – and many other world class films.
Sarah Dowland recently produced ZERO DAYS, Alex Gibney's feature documentary about the secret world of cyber weapons. Sarah also worked with Gibney on WE STEAL SECRETS: THE STORY OF WIKILEAKS, and recently released AMERICAN JIHAD, an investigative co-production feature documentary for Film-44, Film-45 and Jigsaw Productions which premiered on Showtime.
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY / CO-PRODUCER
Matt Porwoll is a Brooklyn-based cinematographer. His most recent film, CARTEL LAND, won Best Cinematography awards at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival and 2016 Cinema Eye Honors. Porwoll took home a 2016 Emmy for his cinematography on Cartel Land. The film was nominated for a BAFTA and an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. Porwoll has served as an additional cinematographer on numerous other films including HBO’s Emmy-nominated BY THE PEOPLE: THE ELECTION OF BARACK OBAMA, directed by Amy Rice and Alicia Sams, GUNNIN’ FOR THAT #1 SPOT, directed by Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys, and HBO’s CRISIS HOTLINE: VETERANS PRESS 1, directed by Ellen Goosenberg, which won the 2015 Academy Award for Best Documentary Short.
Gigi Dement has produced several award-winning films, including GOD OF LOVE, winner of the 2011 Academy Award for Best Live Action Short — making her the first Filipino in history to produce an Oscar-winning film. She then went on to produce BASTARDS OF YOUNG (which premiered at the Woodstock Film Festival) and the critically acclaimed feature film BABYGIRL, which was made in association with Escape Pictures, Samson Films LTD and the Irish Film Board. Most recently, she has been exploring the world of new media, producing for Conde Nast Entertainment and their associated brands, the likes of which include Vogue, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, Teen Vogue, GQ and Bon Appetit. In addition, she has produced digital content for Target x WhoWhatWear, Canon, Lexus, Sephora, Anna Sui and YouTube. Gigi is a double alumna of New York University’s undergraduate and graduate film programs, where she currently holds a faculty position.
PHILIP A. SANCHEZ
Philip A. Sanchez is a communications and marketing professional with a decade of experience in philanthropy, diversity, community relations, and employee engagement. Philip is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Blurred Media, a creative services company. Previously, Philip served as the Associate Director of Philanthropic Investments at Time Warner Inc.’s Office of Corporate Responsibility in New York City, where he spearheaded the company’s flagship New Works/New Voices program – a comprehensive continuum of support for the next generation of storytellers in film, theater, and television. Philip is an enrolled tribal member of San Felipe Pueblo in New Mexico. He served on the board of directors of the nonprofit Native Americans in Philanthropy from 2008 to 2014. He is currently on the advisory board of UNRESERVED American Indian Fashion and Art Alliance.

Ark Martin is an experienced producer, translator, and all around wing-man for international productions in Uganda and Central Africa. When not on set, he's busy working on his personal cooking show in development and hanging out with his family and two kids.
After graduating with honors from NYU’s Film and Television program, Amanda quickly became the top editor at the boutique postproduction house Edditional Effects. She continued her career at Bionic and currently works at Nutmeg Post. Her clients have included Nickelodeon, MTV, Food Network, ESPN, Noggin, Comedy Central, SciFi, and USA Network. Amanda has edited several documentaries, including the award winning feature NO LOOK PASS by Director Melissa Johnson, A GIRL AND A GUN by Cathryne Czubek, and CLAIMING OUR VOICE by Director Jennifer Samuel.
Nikola Chapelle is a New York-based French sound mixer. Nikola has worked on a variety of different projects around the world such as the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival 2nd place Audience Award Winner GRACELAND, shot in the Philippines. Other projects he has worked on include feature documentaries JEREMY SCOTT: THE PEOPLE’S DESIGNER; THE HURT BUSINESS; ARTE and PBS documentaries VIETNAM PEACE NEGOTIATIONS WITH HENRY KISSINGER; Teen Vogue international documentary series STRICTLY BALLET; MTV International hit shows with Kanye West, DJ Questlove and DJ Premier; as well as TV reality shows DANCING WITH THE STARS, THE VOICE, MASTER CHEF, and TOP CHEF.

Emma is a producer and writer at Vice News. She has worked with brands including Vogue, Glamour and GQ as a digital content producer and audience engagement strategist for Condé Nast Entertainment. Her other roles have included reporting and editing for Bloomberg News and the Associated Press. A graduate of Dartmouth College, she was the editor-in-chief of the college's daily newspaper. Emma is an avid traveler and has lived in Mexico and Peru. Her preferred method of communication is Snapchat.
With a past life in tech consulting, corporate communications, IT business analysis, and operations at an adtech startup, Anne enjoys applying her business background to opportunities in digital media, television, and film, particularly documentaries. Previous opportunities have included producing the award-winning short film HYPEBEASTS, THE WAKALIWOOD PROJECT, and a series of six commercials for the CHARLES B. WANG COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER. Anne’s favorite projects are ones that take her to a location she’s never been. Anne lives in Boerum Hill with her husband and their succulent, Juanita.
Michael Valinsky has worked in media, marketing and PR for over fifteen years helping companies such as Zeiss, ARRI, Sony, Leica, and Blackmagic Design. He is also a producer, writer and director based in Hollywood. Credits include the award-winning web series "Poker Night," a stylish hipster serial killer film WELCOME TO THE PARTY, and the upcoming drama/noir film HOLLYWOOD, which is currently in post-production.
